I'll be a first time buyer, I guess I'm looking at a mini.
Is it safe to buy a Mac on eBay?

i mean its always better to buy a new one..just depends on how much you're willing to spend.

i picked up my first mac (a mini) from the apple website, it was refurbished and i got it for like $450. I used it 6 months sold it for $440 on ebay and put that towards my macbook pro. :)

    where indeed
I bought my mini on ebay. If they have good feedback, and have been around for awhile, you should be fine.
    :)

depends on how much money you want to spend but I was pretty sure this question had been answered.
used = less money, but you can't exactly trust it as much
new = closer to the actual retail price, and personally, I would trust it more.

I think I'm going to try for a new one on there. Not sure if there's much of a savings.

Rumor has it, Fry's is having the imacs on clearance now because the Core 2 was just released, unfortunately I don't have one near me :wtc:

didn't see any imacs at the apple store in anaheim on clearance...maybe other stores have them or they're just sold out already.

if you dead set, buy from a retailer's ebay store. Apple wont warrant anything from ebay unless its new from a retailer.
