A&P Business cards?

Discussion in 'Lifestyle' started by coughlin's law, Jun 5, 2008.

  1. So I had a friend, who does realty advise that I make a business card for my photography... problem is I don't know what it should be. I have looked at Scott Hargis, and he's listed as:

    Scott Hargis Photography
    Exterior / Interior / Architecture

But to me, the whole "First, Last Name, Photography" seems played out... so what could I call it? I don't want to get too technical or make it seem cooler than what it really is...

Could I take the first initial of my name, and just combine it with photography? For example, dphotography -- does that sound professional or too technical?

I think if your first or last name is really common, its going to be hard for people to remember you or your business. Me, I have a unique last name most can't say right the first time or spell... yet its simple. Thats why I chose that.

i had 4cusa.com print me out 1,000 double color/uv rounded corner cards for right under $45.

pretty damn good quality/color/service. i had them in exactly one week from design to delivery.

if you want any printed, i have a link and can highly recommend them.

(i don't work for them, but i do have a referral link with them because i am trying to get myself a free run of my next cards .. just throwing that out there)

here's my design .. they just formatted it.

there's a reason for no phone#/email .. but my next cards will have them.

    ^_^

    Nice work!

One problem though... The work you've done for others is much better than your own portfolio!!! You need to dress that up like some of the other sites and it'd be :naughty:.

Oh and I got Moo cards which are sweet. They are smaller than normal but it can import your flickr feed and then they print your pictures as the front, so i have 100 cards, 20 different pictures (so 5 each). Kinda cool

The front looks really nice but you sure have a lot of information on the back! edit: wait...those aren't business cards on your desk. My bad.

its just a basic black CD I get from a local supplier (TAP brand??? ) that has the beveled window, then I can either put a sticker there (from costco) or slip a business card in (it hides the side but works for mine)
