Ok so I'm about to make my second set of Business cards and I want to go with something new for sure.

My first set had one of my modeling pics on it, so everyone instantly noticed that.

This time around I'm not so sure I want to put a pic from my portfolio on it.

I'm thinking maybe just white, black font. No pics? Glossy paper.

I wanna try and cover every type of photography I may do in future.

    Portraits, Senior Photos, etc?

Is "modeling" a type or should I pit Glamour/Fashion?

    Thanks :)

I was in this same boat last week actually. I knew I wanted something that would include the colors black white and a shade of red. I also wanted something that was simple to the point and did not pigeon hole me into a particular type of photography. I wanted a very clean card that was not busy at all, very minimalist.

Good luck. I found doing this in photoshop and then using a different layer for everything gave me a tremendous amount of flexibility when I kept deciding I wanted to change something. (over and over and over)

i wouldn't put any genres on it. if the price is right I'm sure you'll shoot anything. the best and more effective cards are the simplest. you want them going to your website, not judging from a piece of paper

and DON'T put a pic on one, I've never seen a business card with a pic that looked good. if the person doesn't like that pic, they'll throw it away.
