So I've been stretching my septum for a few months now, I recently went up to 2g and the piercing was a little sore and dry from cleaning. I tried using some Burt's Bees Res-Q ointment last night and it feels great. I just used a small amount around the opening of the piercing and a very small amount on the jewelery, it lets the piercing move around a little better and it does not feel dry or sore any more. my question is...is this a good idea? its a healed piercing (10+years old) and the ointment is made of:

Sweet almond oil, olive oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, wheat germ oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (Vitamin E), lavandin oil, comfrey leaf and root extract, rosemary extract.

the Comfrey is an anti inflammatory. this stuff is meant for cuts, scrapes, chapped skin etc. my gf used it on her tattoo with great success. and as far as I can tell my septum piercing really likes it.
