I've been wanting to pick this game up for almost a year but just never got around to it. Got it this week.

First off, the last Burnout game I owned was 3 and rented Revenge. I've played Paradise for maybe 5-6 hours now and I just can't get into it. No lap races or tournaments? Everything is like a mile or two long and over in a minute. What am I not seeing that everyone else did? I like the series and want to have fun.

Also how does the online work? I went on and it was just 7 people doing whatever the fuck. Any PS3 crew want to get back into this?

If I see you on next time I log in I'll jump into a game with you.

The online stuff is cool if the host actually sets the challenges

Cool bro. Is there anywhere in game to see a list of events other than driving to every intersection?

Is it possible to win anything online without having the best cars already unlocked?

Yeah, stunt runs can be won in any car but in the races everyone uses the F1 car and wins with it.

A lot the challenges are jumping onto roofs and stuff which can be done with most cars.

The map should show you what types of events are at the intersection through different coloured spots

I honestly kind if hated it and thought it was broken as fuck when I first got it.
They want you to play it like old burnout games, but you drive 200 mph through the open world filled with traffic with shitty indicators of where to go. And oh yeah there was no option to restart the race you lost for like a year till they patched it. They kind of fixed the race stuff in big surf island where they added a beacon checkpoint system.. The races were more lap like, should have been there day 1, it was actually fun to race. The online stuff made the game for me with mics and cameras so hit me up and we shall play:coold:

I really enjoyed this game. Yeah, they may have fucked it up with their push for the 100% open world feel, but I like how you can go from cruising for billboards to a free race to stunt challenges in the blink of an eye, keeps things interesting!
