Burning Problems on sony crx820e!!! HELP

    i am using the latest version of nero and my laptop just stops burning at 6%, i have cleaned the lens and everything and not sure what the problem might be, the dics i am using are cd-r 48x,80min, 700mb by HP

    i have no problem with these discs on my desktop burner and i even burned a few times on my laptop but majority of the time it gives me this error...i am posting the following log from the error

    i was having that problem, cleaned the lens, uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, works great now

    Considering he said he already did that...I don't know that that's the solution since he already tried it.

    Power calibration errors are sometimes the result of poor/cheap media, dirty lenses, or the drive is in need of a firmware update.

    Also try using a different software other then Nero.

    If nothing works, email tech support for Sony and they will respond with a solution.

    i tried installing the windows XP file drag thingy but still same problem an di was not able to find any firmware updates
