Burning DVD Movies: Unexpected Error

    Error I keep getting when I attempt to burn a dvd movie ripped via MacTheRipper.. Happens with Popcorn and with Toast.

    Any thoughts? Won't let me burn! Grr.

    if i were you make sure you have installed all updates (os and apps), restart computer, run permissions, try again.

    my roommate has the same problem with her macbook...
    only thing that seems to work is lowering the burning speed for some reason...
    her toast will crash or fail...no clue...

    Mine isn't even starting. It just gives that error the second it starts.

    I'm all up to date on updates. OS and apps..

    Burn at 2X speed. That is what I had to do. Also do not allow it to verify the disc. This will make the disc unplayable if the software verified.
