So i decided to try burning a data cdr today just to see how one does it on an ibook. I've been sorta transitioning to my ibook completely as my brother is taking my pc desktop with him to school.

I figured out how to burn data cds using finder, but my problem is with cd-rws. On my pc, i used easy cd creator and on that, one could erase a cdrw so it could be used again.

However, i had problems finding that option on my mac. Not sure if i'm looking in the right place. Maybe i should actually use HELP.. :hs: but hoping someone might know here :x:

    Thx

Pop the writted CD-RW in go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disc Utility and click on the icon on the left for the CD-RW. There should be an erase button right there.

I would look into getting Roxio Toast

haven't tried it myself, but i'd imagine that if it's a CDRW, you should be able to open the disk in finder and drag the files you wish to delete to the trash (or just highlight them and press COMMAND+DELETE).
