I have Windows Vista and I'm trying to make a DVD with a few AVI files. I want the disc to be able to be played in a normal DVD player. Microsoft's Windows DVD Maker doesn't let me put the AVI's on the disc. Is there a free program out there that allows me to do this? I kind of want to avoid Nero because of all the things it installs on the computer.

I use and really like VSO's ConvertXtoDVD software. I don't know if its Vista compatible though. And it's not "free" but isn't too expensive either.

Thank you. That DVD Flick program seems to be doing it.

P.S. Besides, us Texas people must stick together... right, right?
