I have a .dmg file in Windows that I'd like to burn on a dvd to use on a Mac.
What settings or software (I use nero) do I need to set for the Mac to be able to read it?

    if i remember correctly...
    open nero
on the top menu bar select "Recorder" then choose "burn disk image" or "burn image"
it'll ask what to burn, point to the .dmg file, then leave all the settings on default. just make sure to finalize the disk...

it won't be bootable just so you know.

it'll work or it won't... if it doesn't, just burn again with a different option

Using nero wont work. You will need MagicISO extract it and convert it to ISO.

Or you can use your mac disk utility, convert it to ISO and transfer it to back to windows and burn it.
