Trying to burn a dmg file from within windows. I've tried dvd2iso and it errors out and wants to send an error report. it also produces a 0kb file. Trying ISO buster now but I doubt thats gonna work either.

anyone know how this can be done? :x:

I use ultraiso media edition to convert .dmg to .iso then burn it using alcohol.

Sure, just burn the dmg as straight up data. You don't need to convert it or anything like that. Once you've burned it, mount the CD or DVD and then double click on the dmg to mount the image.

on the top menu bar click Recorder - > Burn Image - > *all files - > load your selected .dmg and just hit okat to whatever option comes up...

That shouldn't be a problem. Not sure why it won't work.
