Bulking update v.ImFatandArmsWontGrow

    So yeah I've been stuck at around 235 for a couple weeks. It doesn't bother me because the new weight (up from 180 in March) was killing my knees and these couple weeks of stagnation has allowed them to adjust and now i'm fine :bigthumb:


    In any case, even during my large weight gain my arms/delts are so fucking stubborn. They never grow! I've tried not training them directly and that got nowhere (they appeared to get even smaller) . I've tried totally blasting them multiple days a week (seemed to have the best results doing this but I still didn't put on much size at all) and I've tried everything in between. Suggestions?

    I feel so fucking fat and cannot wait to hit like 260 so I can cut and be happy.

    Ok as of now this is what I do:
    Monday
    Light flat speed bench 5x15
    Incline bench 3x8
    Dips 3x Max

    Tuesday
    Deadlift 2x5 light 3x5 heavy
    Chins wide grip 5x5
    Bent over rows 5x8

    Wednesday
    rest

    Thursday
    Flat bench heavy 5x3
    Military press 5x5
    Close grip bench 5x5
    Skullcrushers 5x8

    Friday
    Standing straight bar curls 5x5
    Squat 5x5
    Stiff leg deadlifts 5x5



    I probably get around 4500 calories per day from whatever I can but always have about 250g of protein.


    Also keep in mind that this progress is not new, I had a similar body (lower BF @ 210) until my episode of colitis dropped me way down. I had tried all sorts of rountines (Max-OT, Arnold routines, routines I'd find in mags, etc.) and all sorts of arm work-outs (from standard stuff to that shit where you switch grips after a certain amount of reps per set AND that "21" bicep work-out or whatever) and NOTHING seems to help.

    I will probably try Pur's delt routine but I'm not exactly sure that would fit well with this. I may just have to start an entirely different routine.

    w00t yeah man between the week and a half of not being able to eat anything because I'd throw it back up (fucking IV bags basically fed me for a week :o ) and the prednisone, my muscles were pretty much non existent.

    Still having some problems :hs:

    That prednisone is a killer that shit made me eat everything insight now I'm trying to shed the pounds I put on from years of it.I feel like a walking medical pet tons of med problems just last year after blood work and MRI's I was put on HRT for life.Atleast HRT has its benefits but its a hassle at times.

    what do your arms measure? They look over 17 if you are 6'3

    My "big" one (left) is like 15.5 inches and my right is like 15.


    Sucks balls.
