I've been working out consistently everyday at work for the last 2 months and have definitely been seeing results. However, I think I need to do more to increase muscle mass. Would creatine help with that? I currently dont take it now but I have significantly increased my protein intake. :dunno:

Regarding protein, what is a good protein supplement (Optimum?) and a good place to buy it? None of the sites in the sticky seemed to have it. Also, how important is creatine? Does that have any effect on bulking aside from the fact that it enhances muscle performance?

When it is all said and done, would protein and creatine exepidite results if I am lifting 5+ days a week and doing cardio 3-4? Also, does cardio have an adverse effect on the bulking up?

Cardio can affect how fast you put mass on because it burns calories so you'd have to eat more to make up for it.

I get my whey (optimum nutrition) from Amazon.

What does your workout look like? (write it out and post it in this thread)

Are you tall and skinny, short and fat, slightly overweight, underweight..... I'm tall and skinny and I'm just now starting to gain weight because I completely took cardio out of my workout. On creatine, some people find it helps, some don't, and some lose all their gains(size) once they quit taking it, it varies a lot between person to person. If you decide to start using it, take it for a while (month, month and a half) before deciding how its working for you

Tall and skinny here, very skinny....and I only do cardio for like 3-4 minutes to warm up before lifting, I don't wanna waste energy on that. I found that creatine did very little mostly because I was taking too little and in a very inconsistent way, once I increased the dosage and started taking it 30 minutes before work-out with way more water I saw a change, it changes for everyone, try different routines until you find one that suits you.

You don't NEED supplements. Skinny needs do good with protein supps because they usually don't eat enough in the first place and drinking shakes can help them to get nutrients at the times it matters the most.

    I'm 5'9" and fluctuate between 170 and 175.

Workout Routine is as follows...steady monday through friday..

Mon - Chest, Triceps, Shoulders, Traps
Tues - Back, Biceps, forearms, Abs
    Wed - Legs
    Thurs -Chest, Triceps, Shoulders, Traps
Fri - Back, Biceps, forearms, Abs

Sat/Sun will vary between Mon and Tuesday routines or I'll do legs again. I am mainly trying to focus on my upper body.

I'm almost in the same boat as this guy. During high school I swam and ran XC, but could never ever bulk up. For the last month or I've been doing the routine from the bodybuilder sticky. I still haven't been able to gain mass on anything but my back and I know that I know that is from swimming. Right now I'm at 6'7" and 140 lbs and looking to hit maybe close to 200 lbs. I don't know if that is crazy, but its just a goal. Anyone have any idea how I can start to bulk up? I can eat a ton and still gain nothing with out working out. Help!

Sooner or later people will learn that to gain weight you might have to eat when you're not hungry.

Also, Muscle Milk is by far the best tasting protein on the market.
