Alright, I bulked from 140 to about 200 in a year, then I started cutting a few months ago and i'm about 180-185, actually I say I started cutting, I actually just took a month break from working out and ate like once a day *I hate cardio* I probably lost alot of muscle, but oh well not to bad hopefully.

I could gain a (few) pounds even all the way up to 200 but I want it to be totally clean muscle ( I would gain it over a long peroid of time). I'm looking for a totally clean bulk diet. I just don't want a fat look, i want to be able to retain abs but also bulk up. So I just need suggestions on clean foods, I don't count carbs I just eat alot when i can.

I got Steel Cut Oats, whey protein, Chicken Breast, and Fish, spinach, beans, brown rice, wheat bread, turkey, corn flakes, skim milk, egg whites(no mayo).

about cardio, i havn't been doing it since I was bulking and I hate cardio, will I be able to stay pretty lean if I eat real clean foods without cardio? I heard cardio will just burn muscle as well as fat.

I'm questionable about ground beef, is that real fatty even the lean 8% kind? more fatty than chicken and fish?

These are just guesses, but what I need to know is, what would be a good diet to bulk, but keep it totally clean so no fat gain... If someone would recommend me some good clean foods my diet should mostly consist of i'd appreciate it

Its almost impossible to put on weight without putting on fat.

Times your bodyweight in pounds by 15 (rough estimate) and eat 500 calories above that number. Trying to keep carbs out of your diet if possible.

this is basically going to be my plan... Probably like 52%P 29%C 18%F all healthy sources of course.

total of around 3000 calories a day. I'll bump it up in 2 weeks if I just sit at the exact same weight (cuase them i'm obviously not gaining muscle)

How do those percentages look? I'm hoping it will provide good muscle growth with minimal fat gain.

i think your percentages are no good and your kcals are too low. you don't need to be eating anywhere close to 50%+ protein, that's about 400g. just eat 1g/lb bw, get lots of complex carbs and starches, keep sugar at a minimum, and eat plenty of healthy fats. i would start with kcals around 3500 and see how it goes. to bulk right you need a lot of calories consistently. if you won't accept fat gain, don't bulk because you simply won't succeed. definitely do NOT restrict carbs or you'll sabotage yourself. just make sure you're eating lots of potatoes, rice, grains etc and not getting all your carbs from gatorade and candy and things like that.

wrong track...healthy fats are found in foods like nuts, avocado, fish, olive oil, canola oil etc. basically any fat source that isn't animal-based. tropical oils aren't quite as good for you either.

Do you consider milk fats healthy?

And by low carbs i was refering to not eating only carbs, 40:30:30 C:p:F works well for alot of people from what iv read.

If it has legs, the fat in that animal is mostly saturated (known as the "bad" fat sometimes but we NEED some). No legs (such as fish) is totally healthy (polyunsaturated). Eggs and dairy don't have legs but come from legged animal so...

salmon and eggs are fine, but the others shouldn't be a primary fat source

i wouldnt consider them a primary source, but i never really go after upping my fat content, i just try to eat for protein and the fat comes along with it.
