    so i finally canceled my order that was placed lat year in december for am ARMS BUIS, i ordered it from delton and it still hadnt shipped, any place that i can order a BUIS that will actually ship it out sometime this month.

    That's OK, they did you the favor. The ARMS 40 is shitty.

    Get a Troy BUIS or, if you can't afford that - a Magpul MBUS.

    Larue if you don't need folding, aimsurplus or rainier have the mbus I think they have fde at rainier

    I went with a Larue, but if I needed folding would have picked up a Troy.

    IMO if you want folding go troy (or magpul) or go home.

    for fixed, larue makes a good buis as well as lmt.

    I have a troy on my 16'' and it will remain the primary optic on that rifle for a while until I get a micro t1.

    the troy is robust, locks up into place and does not come loose (or get knocked off zero). its worth the 140 or whatever it goes for.

    Reasons? I have a 40L that I like just fine :dunno: Does well enough out to 300 yards.

    Either way, it's a BUIS, most people have them and never use them.

    I really like my Magpul MBUS, but I don't have anything to compare it to.

    40L is slightly better...I think the 40 is cumbersome and has no provision for locking it's adjustment.
