This is what I've got so far. Post any opinions on prices etc, only informative replys please :)

Everything is from newegg except the video card.

    CPU: P4 2.53 GHz - $233
link - should i upgrade the HS and Fan on this? or is retail fine? (i will be gaming)

    MotherBoard: Asus P4G8X Deluxe - $229
    link

    Hard Drive: Western Digital 80GB 7200 RPM 8 MB - $109
    link

Video Card: ATI Radeon 9700 Pro from crucial.com $319
link ( should i wait longer to buy this? :o )

    RAM: 512 MB DDR - $83
    link

Case: not sure yet, help me find one! atx, big but not huge, if the website has measurments of it that would help. acrylic window and case fans included, for less then $70 with no powersource. (if not, ill find one from newegg)

    powersource: Antec p4 ATX12v 450 Watt - $71
    link

So far this totals to $1044, just need a case and possibly a CD-RW and DVD drive, but I might be able to get a cdrw cheap and i think i have a floppy laying around.

I'll also be needing a nice 19" flatscreen monitor with good refresh rates. I found a viewsonic but its rather expensive, and It's gonna be tight just to afford the computer. So any links to good/cheap 19" flatscreens are helpful also.

Any suggestions/tips are appreciated, thanks :wiggle:
