Hey all, I just built myself a new computer and having some serious issues installing Windows XP. It says that there isn't a hard drive found on the system during the setup, however, there is. I think the problem has to do with the fact that I have a Serial ATA hdd, and Windows isn't recognizing it or something.
Here's my system specs just in case:
    Asus K8V SE Deluxe
    AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Seagate Barracuda 120gb Serial ATA hdd
    ATI Radeon 9600xt 256mb ddr
    512 mb ddr 3200 ram

If anyone else needs more info just let me know, oh yeah and the windows xp version is oem because it was a helluva lot cheaper

When you install Win XP you have to press F6 when it prompts you to at the beginning and install your SATA controller drivers. Your motherboard probably came with a floppy with the drivers on it.
