I'm looking to build my own M4.

I was shopping and found that you can buy all of the necessary lower reciever parts to put it together and have a complete lower receiver.

I'm just wondering how hard is it & what kind of tools do you need to do it?

Do i need to get any kind of specialty tools to assemble together a complete lower receiver?

To assemble a lower you need no special tools. A punch for the roll pins is as tough as it gets.

ar15.com has instructions to walk you through the process.

I think I made it through with a brass hammer and an ice pick. This was about my 1st gunsmithing endevour and it has lead to me fully customizing 1911s and other things. I'd say it was a great learning experiance and the instructions over on ARF.com are invaluable.
