I just built my first rig, I guess I should start with the specs

PSU : 730W Raidmax Modular SLI ready, Crossfire ready

    Mem: 2x2GB OCZ reaper 800's

    Case: CM 932 HAF

    MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138130

    AMD 2.5 Phenom Quad.

    500GB WD black caviar drive

    Zalman 9700 CPU heatsink

    Sapphire 4870 1GB GPU

I was wondering if I could try OC this because my motherboard came with the windows OC utility, I have never OC before, but have always wanted to try it. Please point out any weak areas that I would need to upgrade before attempting this. Sorry for no links as I do not know how to make them properly here.:noes:

I really don't want to damage anything. It says the CPU runs at 17C and system at 15C. I am not sure whats normal or how high it should go before it is considered bad. Please help a noob, been out of the game for about 7 years.

If your going to attempt OC, I cannot stress this enough, you will deal with more heat, so make sure your computer is properly vented and has cool air coming to it all the time.

Venting I think should be covered with the HAF 932. I am not sure what a bad temp is though.
