    G19 strong side hip (3 o'clock)

It would be safe for me to assume that primary placement for a BUG would be weak side front pocket for a number of reasons.

Primarily it allows an easier and more natural transition to your secondary weapon.

Secondly, one would think that if your gear, gear placement or training is not setup to support weak hand draw stroke if, god forbid your strong hand is taken out of the equation then it would be reasonable to assume that it's much easier to draw something from your "good" hand sided pocket than your bad.

That brings upon the question; where do your carry your "bug" when it becomes your primary?

I feel as though it would be obvious for me to keep it in the weak side front pocket so that it becomes a more natural draw.

    your thoughts? opinions?

I might carry a BUG in the car, but I can't imagine ever carrying one on my person unless it was in a backpack/manpurse/etc.

I carry at 3:30 primarily, and on the occasion that I carry a bug, it is at 10:30.

Weather and clothing permitting I like to carry my primary (G30) strong side 3 o'clock in a OWB pancake and a pocket carry a BUG (G26 or S&W 60) left front pocket.

You find the 60 conceals much easier than the 26? My main issue is that my bug will also be a primary depending on clothing and i'm not sure if the extra weight of the 26 might make that not worth it.

Not really part of bug crew but I think some place other than hip carry makes some sense. A j-frame in the weak hand pocket can let you put your hand on your gun on the street without you looking like thats what you're doing. On the ankle would give you easier access when seated at a desk or while driving. Either way you could drop it in a strong side pocket or holster (or even barami hip grip) for primary carry.

that's my problem. if i keep it weak hand front pocket as a bug then it's going to become second nature in training to reach for that pocket. that's my reasoning as to why i'd keep it weak hand even when it's the only thing.
