Buffing Old Headlights to look Brand New

    Right after I bought new headlights for my car on ebay, my bro sends me pics of his two cars after he buffed the head lights with a drill and some rubbing compound.

    He bought a $10 Ryobi buffing kit at Sears.

    Wetsanding helps a lot too, with some 1500 grit and then just polishing it out.

    You don't always just want to blindly sand headlights. Many these days have UV coatings on them and you will take it right off.

    I just took a buffer to my friends headlights yesterday, got them looking brand new :hs:

    They have the same 6" buffer at Lowe's too. 15.00
