So I got my stripped lower a few days ago and I want to build a budget commiefornia ar-15. So far I've narrowed it down to three choices.

    1. http://www.fireforeffect.biz/shop/index.php?cat=3&shop=1&
It's the 2nd kit that I could get for $500 shipped. Supposedly the upper is made by cmmg.

    2. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=121&t=573213&page=1
The stag 2h group buy on barf.com for $599 shipped.

    3. del-ton rifle kit.

Help me decide. I'm kind of leaning towards the stag but I'm not sure. I'm not baller so be nice.

CMMG or stag would be fine.

remember if you use these build kits they will be in the evil rifle configuration so you will have to use a mag lock and only 10 round mags.

oh yes, i didnt see you were in CA. definately make your rifle SB23 compliant.

if you don't know what SB23 is, read this PDF and make sure you understand it 100% before building:

CMMG is a good choice. chakup or Jimmy pop cornholio may be able to provide a discount.

    I got a Del-Ton upper. I like it. 1:9 twist, though. :hs:

    I think they're all 1:9.
