So today I was in my car in the parking deck at my school and there was only 1 spot..and it was a tight fit so I tried my best to get in there but there was a small pole on the side that brushed up against my right side front bumper and its scratched up and slightly dented. You think that I would need a new bumper or is that fixable at my local body shop. If not; you think a 1997-1999 Cadillac Catera bumper would be hard to find?

    "Scratched up and dented."

Should be fixable for $250 by your body shop. No need for a new bumper.

I'll get them tomorrow...I'm at school and my cameras at home :wtc:
I looked at it better in the light...it's just a scratch and paint of the pole (red) is on it. There's no dents or dings..just some scratched and smeared paint.

I've also been noticing that the clearcoat(I think) is coming off the back of my car..Noticed it a few months ago and it seems to be getting worse. Here are those pics as well.

There's nothing you can really do about clearcoat failure. If you buff it it just gets worse and the paint looks dull. As for the bumper you should be able to get that fixed for a couple hundred dollars at a body shop.
