I've got IE 6 and like it fine I guess, but I'm kinda interested in Firefox. Does anyone have it and can you tell me something about it that makes it better or worse than IE? For that matter, are there any more browsers that I might not know about (and not Netscape for the love of God).

    2) Built-in Popup Controls
    3) Tabed Browsing
    4) Seems to load pages fast (well for me)
    5) Uses W3C standards unlike ie
    6) Works on multi-os's :)

I don't know what W3C standards art, but I just downloaded it and so far it's ok except that when i put OT in the favorites as OT and want to go back to it and type in OT, it doesn't come here, but instead goes to kids corner by oasis telecommunications...any idea why?

Tabbrowser Extensions (More right-click tab options)
External Application Buttons (Allows shortcuts to ext apps in button area)
Pop-up Alt Attribute (Brings the thread preview back to OT)

And if anything doesn't operate quite like you want it to, or you just think of some thing you could live without that could be cool, browse the extensions page: http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/

Also, to recieve one of the biggest things they left out IMO, Flash, just go to http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/firefox-windows.html and scroll down to "How do I install Macromedia Flash Player". Shockwave is further down.:bigthumb:

Edit - The Linux plugin page for Shockwave and Flash is http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/firefox-linux.html

and one more good thing, you can move all of the back, forward, home etc. buttons around as you like them, or take them off and put them back as you please. (just right click in that area and click "Customize")
