I just got a new computer so I'm using XP for the first time as well as the latest versions of IE and Netscape. I use Netscape to sign on to myyahoo and my wife uses IE. Now when she uses the net after me, her yahoo page is signed in as my screen name even though she never signs off. Is netscape changing the cookies for IE somehow?

I use firefox, and know for a fact that it keeps cookies separate from IE... My gf has been signed into yahoo in IE, and I stay signed in on firefox.

The most important thing is to have a separate user name for each person who uses the computer. That will keep all kinds of settings from getting mixed up with each other.

Pity you got a new computer now instead of waiting six months. The new version of Windows is set to come out this fall. I think they might actually meet their deadline this time.
