So I was looking to purchase another gun before our lord and savior Obama had his way with more of our rights. I have been comparing the latest 9mils and had it narrowed down to the SR9, the Sigma, or the Comp9. Once I wrapped my fingers around the grip of the Comp9 I knew that it was the right one for me. It's the slimmest 9mm I've put my hands around, and the fit and finish is second to none. Not to mention it doesn't break the bank. I'm picking it up off layaway tomorrow. :bigthumb:

Fit and finish are critical. Good choice.

I've heard the slide release feels really smooth on them. :mamoru:

So bashing aside, what's wrong with this arm? Be technical, please, I'd like to get something a little smaller than my P95 some day soon.

Though technically, the thread title of any parody should begin with the word "so" such as "So I brought home a new 9mm..."

I couldn't remember if it was the title or the post that was supposed to start with "So". Oh well.

Well first its blowback operated resulting in that gigantic slide and more recoil felt to the shooter. As far as I know there are no OEM mags over 10 rounds, the trigger is probably craptastic, their abillity to feed jhp's is iffy, their take down procedure involves a punch and hammer and I consider an easy field strip a bare minimum requirement, and your friends will make fun of you for your ghetto blaster.

In short you're going to wind up plopping down $150 for a pretty low end gun when $250 will get you a brand new kel-tec p11, which while I'd also call it a low end gun, its still far better than the hi-point.

Hope that was a serious question :big grin:

Fixed. I shot one that jammed on every other FMJ round as the spent brass would get stuck in the enclosed slide.
