Just a heads up for those of you who don't visit the main or care much about apps. There is an app called Pandora and it's totally free. It's internet radio and it works like a charm in 3G coverage. I've been using it for a few days and haven't even touched the 5gigs of music I've been listening to over and over in the phone. You can make as many stations as you want relating to an artist or song and have up to 6 skips per station per hour. It's also introduced me to a lot of other bands I normally wouldn't know about.

Yeah for those countries that have plans that include unlimited data allowances it's okay. But try that in countries that have capped plans, I know in Australia it's fucked!

How about the Gym Buddy app? Admitted, it does look silly when you start logging all your lifts at the gym, but it beats pen and paper.. and you can simply mail the results and paste them on OT!

.! I made a connector for my g1 to fit into my ipod dock, and I made a 3.5mm adapter so I can use my nice headphone at the gym with it. I downloaded last.fm and listen to it on my computer at work, and I have it of my g1 as well and listen to it in the car and at the gym. I used to listen to pandora all the time but last.fm > pandora. I love my g1 more and more every day.

I use pandora as well. I have an older, non 3g, and it still works fine. I never listen to my stored music either.

What do you mean by this? Also, what is a skip?

a station is the band / type of music that you type in, you can make unlimited of these.

example: I type in Trivium, it's going to find Killswitch Engage, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, etc. It finds that type of music. If you happen to come across a song that it picks that you don't like, then you can press the next / skip button

last.fm is similar to pandora and also free.
I dont know the big differences between the two, I only stick with last.fm because I signed up with them first.

last.fm has a larger selection of music, also you can choose to specifically play a song that you have "loved" and on pandora you can't. Also, last.fm is owned by newscorp, so I think it will be around longer.

    I've been using Pandora...

One other thing to check out is iFitness App on iPhone - it's $1.99 and will let you customerize, log, and track all your workouts. Totally worth it IMO.
