I need to get fitted for a suit yet the only jackets that fit me are for fat bastards that have me looking through the front of my jacket straight to the floor

I have one from express that seems to fit fine. I like their dress shirts as well.

Although I have yet to experience the "I'm too big to fit in dress clothes" phenomenon that sweeps FN once a month.

Does it fit fine to your form? No super wide waist/hip area?

it's more of the fact that these threads are on here every fucking week and the end result: Thread starter is 160 lbs, having a hard time looking for a suit due to his 60" chest and 34" waist

Yep. Buttons nice and snug and stays that way down the jacket. It doesn't look like I'm wearing an old man suit aka trash bag. It has a more "tailored" look.

My brother in law used to work in hugo boss and the NFL players that frequented the store never seemed to have a problem getting fitted. :dunno:

Maybe not, but I assure you that if an NFL player can be fitted with no major issues then I'm lead to assume that the thread starter possibly jumped up a coat size (perhaps 2) because the 40 is now a bit "snug" and felt that the extra material on a 42 or 44 couldn't be tailored to fit his frame. I happen to understand a few things about this and know that anything less than a 17 inch drop from coat to pant can be altered accordingly. So, as previously stated, unless the thread starter has a 50 coat on at least 34 pant he's ok.

I'm sorry, did you want me to affirm your trolling? Because you're pretty much like a little kid jumping up and down flailing his arms wildly for attention.

I got a Hugo Boss 44R with pants tailored down to 33", fits great, tailor also did a good job of keeping some sort of taper in the coat so it fits great as well. Just buy a suit that has a jacket that fits and find a decent tailor.

Do you realize that most suits are taken to a tailor for proper fitting?

I'm actually forced to wear shower curtains stitched together because I'm too massive to wear normal people clothes

All suits should be tailored. Buying pre-made suits is pretty bad IMO no matter your size... Nothing wrong with cheap places like Mens Warehouse or whatever.

Personally, my Dolce and Gabbana fits best
