Brolies! Squating Question

    I started to squating yesterday and today my ass cheek and my thighs are killing me.. i have natural chicken legs.. anyways.. I heard squating also helps with core muscles.. does this mean abs? I have really weak abs.. blubber like texture.. I'm not fat... (153lbs 5'11).. but yea... Squats kicked my ass :bowdown:

    normal pain and yes ur abs will improve if u keep em tight wihile squatting

    It will help with all the muscles around your core but... if all you're doing for abs is squats you won't notice results till you get to a much higher level. Also, a lot of people do core exercises to help them stabilize during a squat.

    So, work abs and keep squatting and you're skinny as fuck so eat.

    The pain in very normal.

    As for core during squats.... You can work your core while squating, but make sure you keep your abs and lower-back tight throughout the movement. You def. want to do other core work outside of squats though. squats will help build a better core, but having a strong core will also help with stabilization on squats ;)

    I have also found proper nutrition has helped my DOMS.

    .... and foam roller before/after etc. helps me.
