Just got them yanked yesterday, just the left 2...the right 2 are ok. The nitrous was fun as fuck :eek3: :hsd:

Anyways, who has had them pulled...and how long did you wait to hit the weights again? I know the rise in blood pressure under load can definately rupture these bad boys again, and make a nice bloody mess. To play it safe I just ran today and it was ok. I cannot fucking stand not lifting, I feel so useless..

    Any thoughts or opinions?

I would take about a week off or at least about 4 days.

I've waited long enough and suffered quite a bit letting all 4 of mine grow in. Dentist today said they've got to go within 6-12 months or they'll start to fuck with the other teeth

I'm interested in learning what the turn around time is on getting these mofos pulled

    Anyone?

    GO LIFT RIGHT NOW!lc

Just get back at it when you feel both physically and mentally up to par. I have no idea what you're recovery is like.

Are you on pills? If so, no until you're off them.
    Can you eat normally?
When I had all of mine removed I was on pills and constantly sucking on blended food, no shape to go work out.
Probably no longer than a week.

When I had mine's removed I was on general anesthesia and didn't wake up until 3 days later. Good times.

I'd say wait a week too.

I had one pulled and took 4 days off, but it was a pretty clean pull since the it was already showing through the gums.

I have to this summer to get the other 3 pulled though... all of which are impacted. I plan to take a good 7-9 days off for this.

i had one puled and felt pretty much back to normal the next day. I'd give it a week though, cause thats a pretty big hole and takes a while to heal

I can understand this. I was put on a "twilight" (just kinda in a daze, not asleep) dose of something and I ended up sleeping for 36 hours. That shit knocks me on my ass.

Man, this is what I am afraid of. I have heard horror stories about people going under and still being able to feel the tooth being pulled but unable to move or make any sounds.

My first wisdom tooth was done with novacaine (sp?) injection. I was given 5 shots to completely numb the area. Doctor said it would be nearly impossible to numb me enough to not feel the 3 impacted ones though :wtc:
I really don't want to go under.... but it seems I have no choice.

I took a week off and lost about 7 pounds. All I could eat was soup :( I have a fast metabolism, tho.

After the operation I remember the doctor talking to me and nurse helping me up before I hit the floor. Next thing I recalled were my brothers dragging me across the front yard before I blacked out again. Then after that it was 3 days later. Apparently family doctor made a rare house call and told my parent to try and wake me up every 12 hours though I don't remember anything until 3 days later.
