Dropped some shit on mom's Macbook Pro 15. Broke the monitor. I plug in an external monitor, but I can't login/activate it/set up monitor mirroring.

So how do I boot to that monitor? What key? This is really hard to find on google, I tried.

2nd question: on OS X 10.4 what is the best way to backup all her firefox stuff, so they can be put on another computer/restored to this one?

That is all she cares about. Her firefox logins.

Should I just backup /Users/moms/Library/Firefox or something?
