Broke my DB Flat Bench PERSONAL RECORD today *with pics*

    well, since i was whoring thru my pics and my accomplishment in the main forum today, i thought id whore it out more and share it with my fella brollys :wiggle:


    just lil update...thats all.



    so i started off lil iffy but it went down like this:


    DB Flat Bench:
    -40lbs x12 (warm up)
    -80lbs x8
    -100lbs x6 (was kinda out of balance at first :mamoru: )
    -125lbs x4 (PERSONAL RECORD:bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown: )
    -110lbs x8 (i didnt have to do this but i felt great)

    Flat INCLINE Smithy:

    -45lbs + 25lbs each side x10
    -(2)45lbs each side x8
    -(2)45lbs + 25lbs each side x6


    DB SLIGHTLY INCLINE DB FLIES:
    -40lbs x10
    -50lbs x8
    -60lbs x6
    -70lbs x4


    DB Decline Bench:
    -60lbs x12
    -75lbs x10
    -90lbs x8

    Cable Flies:
    -50lbs x12
    -70lbs x10
    -90lbs x8


    all i gotta say is, thank god my bro was there to spot me when i was doing 125lbs db....i had a hardtime getting it up, but once it was up there, i had control all the whey thru :bowdown:

    as far as DB decline, its kinda low coz i was very tired by then. and i havent done DB Decline for months.

    and yes, the last exercise wasnt necessary but i just did it for the hell of it :o


    ill upload more pics later from WAAYYYYY back :) (i keep PIC LOG of myself ever since i started lifting. its interesting none the less.)

    my dumbbell bench is going NOWHERE lately. I'm stuck at 120's x 5 or so, and the next size up is 130's, which i think is too big a jump right now.

    It's weird because at the same time my barbell bench has been shooting up. I did incline smith today too and did 315 (well 3 plates per side, whatever that is on the smith) for 4.

    I actually talked with a girl yesterday who I saw doing hang cleans. I've honestly never seen another soul in the gym do those.

    EDIT: Congratulations on the 125s. That's big. I did 80s for 5x5s for the first time last night.

    i AM the only one in the gym i see deadlifting, and my workout partner who has been lifting for 3 years, remains more in shape and built than i do (he has a better core than i do) pussies out when we do deads....like yesterday, he quit on me in 3 reps when we had ~200 on the bar. me, im 180lbs and weak as shit and i threw another 10lbs on that shit and did 5 reps for a 5th set.
