I'de been buklking for about six months and was ready to cut, when I broke my arm snowboarding Jan 1, 06. Like most nubes, I started lifting and quickly got on Christophers routine; I started my bulk about May or June of 05. This is me a couple of months into my bulk, I don't have any pics towards the end of bulk (didn't want to take fatty pics). At the end of my bulk cycle I weighed in at 205.

This is me 3 months after I broke arm. Doctors put me in some wimpy cast/sling and told me my bones would heal on their own...they haven't. I am now weighing in at 172. After 3 months of hardly moving, I lost a ton of mass.

And this is How fucked up my arm still is:

For you newer guys out there thinking about bulking to increase muscle mass, Don't do the 7 month bulk thing like I did, you will not continually get bigger only fatter. I gained most of my strength and muscle mass the first couple of months. I would suggest bulking for a couple of months, maintaining, cutting, and then do it all over again. By the way, I go in for surgery tomorrow morning, wish me luck fellas :wavey:

The term cross training has actually been used for many years by physiologists to describe the phenomenon whereby training one limb can produce a training effect in the opposite limb. The training effect elicited in one limb by active exercise or even passive manipulation is transmitted by central nervous system pathways to the opposite limb. Though the strengthening effect is not as great as in the actively trained limb, this 'cross training' effect can occur and be usefully applied in cases where an individual cannot use one limb due to injury. That sucks dude, you were looking thick. I know how much it sucks to get up to a decent amount of muscle and lose it. You'll get it back though once that monstrosity is fixed and heals :o
