Anybody own one? use one regularly?
I've always wanted to have a traditional briefcase, something like this

I'm 19 in a month, don't know if I would look like an idiot if I had a briefcase. I'm definitely making one for myself, polished wood frame and leather exterior/interior. Any of you guys have experience with using briefcases?

adding a strap might make it a bit less 'businessman' looking, don't know if that would work though :/

A brief case with a strap?

    :wtf:

Why not just get a bag or backpack?

yea, maybe you're right. I think I'll make a briefcase as practice for working with larger items, and then I'll head on to make something like this (comes with a strap, my dad owns it) :dunno:

if your business or job necessitates a breifcase, then do it. if you wanna go to Uni with it, you'll just look like a douchenozzle.

i have a briefcase and i use it for my gambling supplies and extra decks of cards. i never really take it anywhere unless i need more than a few decks of cards somewhere. which is never usually the case. (pun not intended.)

if you just want a way to carry docs and a laptop (and to protect that laptop) and want that briefcase look, may i suggest the drug dealer/secret agent case.

or if you need a laptop carrier that looks a little less like a briefcase

    otherwise, get a messenger bag.
