Im looking to get an Eclipse 34230 and run it to my single 12", but everywhere I look online its only listed as running in 2channels, would I be able to run it mono and how much power would I be looking at?

    "Stereo/Mono Switch"

Check the manual, it should tell you how to accomplish it. Usually you hook the speaker wire up to the positive of one channel and the negative of the other, but you are going to have to check the manual to see which it needs.

If the amplifier can do a true 370W × 2, then it should do at the very least 740 watts mono. Check the manual to see the lowest load impedence that it can drive in mono mode.

However, seeing how they list "low negative feedback" as one of the selling points, I wouldnt reccomend buying that amplifier, especially for a subwoofer. :hsugh:

thanks for the advice.... after asking about this amp on a few other audio forums someone made mention that this amp was actually kind of like a combination of two two channel amps in the same housing, and that it wouldnt be a good amp to go with either. thanks once again
