Breaks from the gym

    Is it good to take breaks from working out? I understand that you should obviously take atleast 2-3 days off per week, but how often would you recommend taking a week recovery? Is this even a good idea?

    Yes its a great idea. I like to take a week off every 3 months. Usually come back stronger than I was before the break too...

    Lots of food + anabolics = no need for breaks

    My roommate uses this too, he goes on OT, I usually stick to FN

    Anabolics or not, a break is always a good idea after a period of consistent training.

    Only time I take a week completely off is vacation or sickness. I do have deload weeks though.

    haven't been to the gym since monday. sometimes you get burned out and can't work out the way you should. take a few days and come back recovered enough to push even more :bigthumb:
