so in the morning I've started having a shake to save time/effort (and it's a lot healthier than honey nut cheerios I'm guessing to )

What I'll do is blend 1cup oats, 2 scoops protein, handful of raspberries, blackberries, etc, and a cup of water. Afterwards I'll take a multi and I'm good to go.

My question for you guys is: Is there anything that I'm missing that I should be including in my breakfast? A friend of mine was telling me that it would be beneficial to include some sort of fat in there as well, like via fish oil or something like that.

    Any suggestions?

I've been doing 2 cups of milk, 1 cup of oats, 2 scoops of whey every day since I started working out about a month ago.

never thought of putting some olive oil in there... is it mainly for the fats or the cals? or both?

either way I stuck some natural pb in there.. tastes good so I'll stick with it. high in cals/fats as well so i think i should be good

If adding raw oats to a shake, is one kind better than another? Like steel cut v. Qick?

My 2 minute breakfast for the past 3 years.

    1 cup oatmeal
    2 scoops whey
    1 sliced up banana
    water to the top

    blend & drink.

Its about 500-600 calories and fuels me plenty until lunch.
