Breakfast question...

    Do you guys think 4 cups of oats in skim milk is too much for breakfast? I'm currently in my cutting phase.
    200lbs@ 6'0 11% trying to get down to 8ish or so. According to fitday, that's giving me 1200 calories with 200ish grams of carbs :ugh:
    That does'nt sound right..

    that doesnt sound right cuz regular oats have 300 calories per cup so that'd be 1200 but then you gotta add in the milk

    4 cups of oats would be fucking outrageous even for me. and I eat a ton of food.

    you eat 1200 calories for breakfast when you're cutting? sounds like way too much(double) for me. what were you eating when you bulked?

    I down about 120 grams for breakfest, + 300 grams of berries + 1 scoop of whey and my name is not Poke Steve.

    I acutally starting eating the 4 cups of oats WHEN i started cutting. I used to eat kellogs corn flakes instead :rofl: yes my breakfast diet sucks :-(

    oats are fine, especially in the morning.
    but get mor eprotein.

    thats too much carbs for cutting thats over 200g of carbs. YOu want to cut back on carbs when cutting. Your body needs to use fat as a energy source.

    I'm cutting and I eat 1200 calories in a day! Cut down the oatmeal and throw in some egg whites. Of those 1200 calories, only 35% of it is carbs. 50% protein, and 15% fat.

    Stfu you don't know shit about dieting. I've dropped almost 15lbs in 8 weeks and down to around 8% right now. Roll your eyes again and I'm going to donkey calf your ass back to seaworld

    lmao, so youre eating 4 seperate 1/3 cup servings? 1 and 1/3 cups, thats not that much. about 400 calories.
