Ok so stop eating it and don't look for a replacement? Eat Salads with an oil based dressing and a lean protein source (chicken), they keep you fairly satiated along and drinking lots of cold water helps.

    easy one...

    2 poptarts
1 can of tuna (water based)

mix tuna with evoo, salt, pepper, hot sauce and put it on a pop tart... put the 2nd one on the top and that's your sandwich... you can also use rice cakes instead of poptarts

Ok well eat a wrap? Whole wheat wraps generally have less carbs then 2 slices of bread, or just eat one piece of bread on your sandwich.

I think you're going around your diet completley wrong. It's not bad to eat bread while cutting, just accomdate the rest of your days caloric intake.

what's wrong with bread? I've been managing my protein/carb/fat intake well and had good success so far by just not going overboard w/ the carbs. I use some light whole wheat bread, smaller slices and they're only 35 calories a slice.

or like someone said, whole wheat wraps are great.

Here's a hint that will help the general "low carb" populace.

In every meal where you remove a starchy carb source, replace it with a fibrous veggie. This helps make you full and you won't be as likely to cheat.

then it wouldn't be a sandwich cause a sandwich, by definition, includes bread.

not sure what you mean "healthier than bread". Bread is plenty healthy, as long as, like anything else, you eat it in moderation and within your caloric needs.

why are you looking to cut bread out? the carbs? there are low carb breads out there. you can also try wraps as well.

These flat bread wraps are amazing. Grab ema at Publix for $2.50. I usually make sandwiches or put my egg whites in these. If you grill em on a foreman before you eat it's even better. :yum:
