I liked it a lot. I had to talk to several film students and actually do some research to understand most of the movie. 99% of the movie can't be taken literally, it's all euphimism or symbolism. It's craji. Gilliam is borderline genious for that movie.

Gilliam is genius. That movie is pure genius... My favorite movie of all time...

If I can ever find a girl that appreciates that movie, I will marry her. I have yet to find a girl who will even watch the whole thing. God girls are stupid.

Seen Brazil and it's an outstanding film. Can't wait for Gilliam's next films; The Brothers Grim and Tideland.

  8. The scene where the goons stand at attention to the "heroes" badge (and his reaction) is one of the best I can remember.

The Sam character (Mike Palin) was just so brilliant. The design of the film with all of the ducts was great. I have the three disc Criterion version, if you are a fan of the film you have to have this set, it has both cuts of the movie, plus a documentary where Gilliam talks about why things went wrong.

I also own the 3-disc Criterion and agree that it is a must have for anyone who thought this movie was amazing.
