got an email 22 minutes ago and they were still in stock just now if anyone is interested :wavey:

note: for people new to AR15's they ARE nfa uppers so have them sent to get a muzzle device perm attached to reach the 16" minimum legal limit

yeah, i jumped on one the last time they were in stock. its good that we're starting to see them come into stock sooner, and stay in stock longer.

How does the LMT M4 upper compare to the BCM M4 upper?

The LMT one is in-stock right now. If the BCM upper is that much better, I'll wait.

I have a question regarding these and the building.

It was my understanding that to have an upper properly headspaced it needed to be headspaced with a particular bolt as there were variations in them and for it to be right, it was something that worked together.

These say they are headspaced, but do not come with the BCG.

Can someone explain that to me? I've built lowers and have several ARs, but always bought an upper with the bolt included.

personally i'd probably go BCM over LMT, but they're both great manufacturers. if i had to build the upper now, get the LMT. i just got on the email list for either the 16" or 14.5" BCM and waited. the 16" came up first so i got that.

im sure you'll enjoy the BCM or the LMT equally

BCM builds em in smaller batches, so i'd prefer to get BCM.

Both are HP proof round test fired, and built to stringent standards with the best materials though.
