Anybody know the legal stuff surrounding them? I had a friend show me a pair of his Lexan knuckles today. He said they were not illegal due to them not being metal. It isn't that I don't believe him, but I want to know more, and possibly get a pair.

I read somethings saying you needed a concealed carry to keep them in your pocket, but you could open carry them.

    Thanks.

My roommate has a pair that have a small little knob on them he claims somehow makes it a belt buckle and thus legal

I want a pair of the ones shown in the video, but the place that makes them shut down. I cannot even email the guy because he masked his WHOIS.

OMG, you just went through a metal detector with something not metal, and it DIDN"T CATCH IT?!?!? ohnoes!

That's the stupidest thing I've seen lately. "What are they going to do about this?!"
"How does that feel?" -"Oh, you could kill someone with that"

Those things don't even contribute any inertia to the blow but they looked a bit sharp, they're just like wearing rings.

AFAIK it varies from state to state. In FL a CWL allows you to carry numerous "weapons" concealed, but in looking at the reciprocity charts in most states look like they limit you to a handgun of some sort.

I've got a pair of brass knuckles around here somewhere. They sell them as paperweights or some shit at the flea market.

Whatever happened to good ol' fashion kung-fu? I don't need no stinkin' artificial knuckles... I learned from a master, how to make my fist as hard as iron!

"What are they going to do about this?"

Uh, shut the hell up about it? Punish the crime, not the tool.

Stop trying to undermine the sole methodology of the so-called "violence prevention" advocate! It's so much easier to go after and blame the tools of violence than to address the actual causes of violence...

I know in Texas they are illegal...just like a switchblade.

And i'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what they are made of.

the fact that they are knuckles doesn't even really matter, if you kill someone with a stapler they will still call it a deadly weapon
