Hey i want to get a pretty simple scarification/branding job done. Just three lines on each arm that encircle the entire bicep. The lines would be a bit thicker than a pencil. Anyway trying to figure out what would look better. Any pics or insight would help out. Also anyone know of some good scarification/branding spots in Los Angeles?

Lines around an arm are not always a good idea. In branding/scarification and even tattooing they will not turn out even (much worse in scarification/branding). :dunno: Just one thing to consider.

Chris (Two Toys) had his done by James “Wizzer” Wisniewski

I'm not sure where he's working out of but I'm sure Chris will pop in and let you know. I know it's in the Hollywood area.

from my experience scarification is more accurate, less painful and heals faster to achieve a similar look. I have a brand on my ankle and the fucker took forever to heal. but any kind of scarification has risks of not looking the way you wanted it to in the end. but with cutting specifically it can be easier to fix if you are willing to go back.

the lines on my legs have held straight since i got mine 2.5 years ago. mine were done with a scalpel.

i also have 3 scars i did myself on my arm with a hot metal edge on one of those wooden rulers when i was 16.. technically its branding and they turned out great.. maybe i just scar well. they have faded but they are still straight.

if u just etch lightly with an exacto knife, enough to bleed but not too deep, it doesn't hurt so much and it leaves u with a kool scar... i did it a couple times and as long as the knife is clean it wont infect... plus if u don't like it u can always go out in the sun and tan it away... that is, as long as u weren't an idiot and cut too deeply

Scarification freaks me out ever since I saw the pics of the pile of little bits of flesh when a member on here had, I think, a flower done. It was a female member do. Does anyone else remember what I'm talking about?

I've been thinking about doing a scarification of Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) on my back.

scarification still freaks me out but cool for who ever gets it done. I would like to see a piece thats comprised of tattoo scarification and branding. I think it would be interesting to have all of those elements in a piece.
