I can't. Unless I wakeup earlier and workout later. And I usually head out for the gym 1/2 hour after I wakeup.
My stomach always feels a lil' queasy if I have anything immediately before.

Me too. I usually wake up at 5:30 and drink my shake first thing. I don't get out of class till 8:30 and then I workout after that so my shake usually has time to digest before I hit the weights. :hs:

For cost effectiveness, I'd go with something in powder form (not optimum powder.. been there done that):

    MRM BCAA+G
    Xtend - Watermelon
    Ice
    Vendetta
Leucine Powder (as long as you get some whey pre and postworkout)

On the leucine powder issue... here is why (LONG read...but gets really good towards the end):

There's no study comparing EAA (INCLUDES BCAA's) with just BCAA... but yes.. the other EAA probably have *some* benefit over and above BCAA's

So is there really any need if you are already getting them in whey? I have a minimum of 6 on non workout days and a minimum of 8 on workout days

That's a lot of whey

In SOME cases, when your whey intake is that high, you won't notice much by adding additional BCAA's (unless you megadose the BCAA's)... but it still might be worth it to experiment with some leucine powder... only because it's so cheap now.

I have no appetite whatsoever so I basically get all my calories from big shakes of like olive oil, oatmeal, whey, milk, and pb.:( I'm slowly introducing more "real" food into my diet though.

ON bcaa seems pretty cheap for 60 servings... not worth it though?
