So I need to get new brakes for my car and instead of paying for overpriced shit brakes from the dealership my friend said he would install them at the place he works if I buy them.

What are good brakes/rotors and/or a website for an 01 civic? Thanks in advance.

www.ebcbrakes.com. Get the RedStuff pads for the front and the GreenStuff pads for the rear -- RedStuff tends to overheat non-vented rear rotors.

I had an 03 Civic a few years back. Check TireRack.com . I had the Satisfied Ceramic fronts and rear shoes, they worked really well.

for a stock setup: brembo blanks and cheapy pads.
better braking: brembo blanks and axxis/pbr ultimates or hawk hps... (brakes will suck when cold)
