    it's amazing to me that it takes a car 1040lb/ft of torque and over 800hp to do 235 mph, but an aircraft the same size will do 235mph with almost half the power :o

    You know the TCS wont let it get anywhere near its max torque to the wheels.

    why does that amaze you? put that much hp in a boat and it will do 120mph. it's all about resistance

    hard to imagine the transmission can handle that torque.
