    Not sure if this is in the right forum but...
    I'm trying to get into boxing.

    *Typical high-schooler
    *lifted for football
    *5'11 175
    *I'm pretty fit, i gained some weight over the summer, but im running/jumproping/swimming it all off right now

    Anything you guys would suggest?
    Stuff to buy, things to do, tups/suggestions?
    Anything would help.

    If i'm in the wrong forum, sorry in advanced

    look up phone numbers.. find a place that teaches boxing.. and go box.

    I would buy some cloth hand wraps and a quality speed rope. I just bought a new rope last night because the one that I got with a "kit" was too shitty. They should have plenty of gloves at the boxing place. If not they'll tell you which ones to buy.

    I'd say start running, and doing more intense cardio. you'll be happy you started.

    and join a gym, best way to learn, don;t bother with online stuff or manuals showing you technique, you need a trainer.

    and get more than one pair of hand wraps
