This is going to demolish the 4Runner:

Same engine as the Titan and QX56 with 317hp and 320hp, respectively. Torque is up around 391lbs.ft., too!

Both are good trucks, both have taken a much more street driving luxury role and resemble litttle of the early ones like mine. They could use a v8 as their such a big vehicle now. I like them but will take an xterra.

About fucking time. I always wondered why they didn't do that from the get go. Nice fucking truck, though.

pathfinder looks great. The V6 pathy beat the V6 4Runner and now the V8 pathy will kill the V8 4runner.

I'm not a fan of the pathfinder's styling, but that V8 one definately makes it more interesting to me.

    Don't count on it unfortunately.
They have enough putting it in the Sequoia and Landcruiser.
The 4Runner will only get the 4.7L.

That's a ballsy engine in the Nissan, too bad it looks so poopy.

the Pathfinder has had *NO* break problems.

You're thinking about the Armada... This is a vehicle that is much smaller.

ALL nissan have brake problems resulting from cheaping out and using a single layer rotor.. I even had problems with this being the case on my 03 Maxima I had..

    What the truth?

Nissan uses single layer rotors that have caused problems with brakes from everything to a G35 (sued and won class action against nissan) and Titan (Friend had one and got his first break job at 6k) and Armada and everything in between causing frequent warped rotors.

I guess I should just wait.. you will change your story and argument :mamoru:

EDIT - Add Nissan Quest to the class action law suits for brakes

how many lawsuites have been filed against Ford???

The brake issue was with the armada -- it was a big deal. They underestimated how much abuse people would inflict on a vehicle with a big motor. They've fixed it, afaik. The breaks on the new ones are huge.

Show me wide-spread probelm with Pathfinder breaks. You won't find it.

But you will find valvetrain problems in the 4Runner :mamoru:

I GUESS YOU ARE JUST MAKING UP stuff to argue with me with no factual basis to your arguments.

I owned two Nissans and still have one and did a lot of research on brakes, because my maxima had brake issues. This was one of many on a quick google search

How did this turn anything against ford. :ugh:

I guess I was right you twist the facts just to argue..

Nissan uses single later rotors that warp easily. that is all I am saying and that is true

Anytime I show you the facts it turns into Well you blah blah Ford. :greddy:

just saying that you bash any product that isn't a ford....

with no sources and broad statements about poor brakes -- something that affected a different model...

I dont bash anything that isnt Ford, and except for my truck I wouldnt buy a Ford...

The problems with brakes affected more than just the armada as I previously stated and proved.

I actually do like Nissan, I still own one and traded the other one we owned for my Truck because the lease is up.

I love the 5.6L drive train, I am just curious if they are still using the single layer rotor.. if they have improved that, I think the pathfinder with the V8 would be awesome.

See I do like other things, you just like to argue and no matter what I say you go back to say I sackride Ford, which I dont.. hmmmmmmm

so if your only complaint is the rotors, why not buy new rotors for $100 and have a great vehicle?
