    100g of (uncooked) pasta = 17g protein, 7g fiber, 360mg omega-3

And at first I thought it was soy protein so i :squintd:'d..but upon further research:

Publix has it 2 boxes for 3$ this week :)

Any luck cooking it. I tried it a while back and it was definitely "tougher" than how I regularly cook it al dente and it didn't taste so good either.

Interesting- for once legume flour isn't soybean
Only caveat there is- legume flour isn't a complete protein, but then if you're eating the pasta with other stuff it's probably not an issue.

I've been buying this stuff for a long time at my local Safeway. They have another brand that I dont know off hand that I get sometimes too, which is actually pretty good and it's organic whole wheat.

Stuff's good. For those worried about toughness, I usually have to cook it a couple minutes longer than regular pasta.

I was also trying to find some no-cal pasta for some time in Canada but it seems available only from one place. It's called shirataki or sometimes konjac noodles. It's made out of glucomannan and it's only 3g of fiber in reality but as we don't assimilate fibers, it's 0-cal or maybe 20 cals a serving because they sometimes put some soy in it.

Anyone have any good and easy pasta recipes or pasta + chicken recipes? I just need something I can toss together in a few minutes as a good source or cals/protein :hs:

I inject the thin spaghetti directly into my forearm vein

    j/k, don't do that.

This + tomato sauce + mushrooms + parmesan cheese + tuna = fantastic bulking meal
