So, just bought a 1992 Acura Legend. Original Owner (old couple), and 118k on the clock.

Car is pristine. Runs great, looks great. Some minor wear and tear for a 15 year old car, but nothing you can really notice.

Any advice from privious or current Legend owners on this car? Anything I should look out for? What are the best forums for Acura Legends?

Some crappy pics the privious owners took:

Yes, the purple tint is going to go. Black (very dark) tint to come since I will be moving to Vegas in a week, need to keep the car cool.

Going to be looking to slap some Rota's on there pretty quickly also, just not sure of which ones yet.

Re-tint, get rid of the gold emblems and remove the pinstripe and it's good to go. Good reliable cars. :bigthumb:

How may I ask do you remove the pin-stripes?

First feel them to see if they're painted on or just stick on (you can usually tell by looking at them as well). If they are stick on, take a hair dryer to them and they peel off. Just be careful with how long you point the hair dryer at your paint or it might bubble. Constantly move back and forth and check to see if the adhesive is soft enough frequently.

So, think there would be any issues with 18" rota wheels?

The more the better. I like getting ideas for things that need to get down. Nothing is better then the barn though ;)

Other than breaking them? And poor tire selection?
